Playa Grande Golf Course was built with an amazing sea side layout, where 10 of the 18 holes lie right on water's edge, 200 feet above the ocean. About an hour's drive from Sosua, those who have made the journey say it is one of the most beautiful in the Caribbean. This course, one of the most beautiful in the Caribbean, was conçu par the celebrated architect Robert Trent Jones, Sr. on an area of more than 370 acres, and was open in 1997. Playa Grande is considered by many to be the “Pebble Beach of the Caribbean" but with more cliffs and vistas.The course is played high above the ocean, along 100 foot bluffs. Interestingly enough, Pebble Beach has six holes that play along oceanside bluffs... Playa Grande has ten. A must see for the golf enthusiast.

  • Voiturette: Companions (Riders) are not allowed on the course, if by any reason a player brings a guest to Playa Grande, he/she must remain on the club house and should follow the dress code for players
  • Leçons de Golf: 30 mins. $30 US, 1 hour $50 US, 3-day pack $130 US. (special group rates available).
  • Code vestimentaire: Vêtement approprié de golf - chemises colletées, pantalon travaillé ou shorts de longueur des Bermudes (aucunes coupures), et chaussures appropriées. Les jeans et les pantalons du type "sweat pants" ne sont pas acceptables.
