Nestled between the sparkling Pacific and majestic Sierra Madre Mountains, the Mayan Resorts Nuevo Vallarta Golf Club meanders through a tropical forest and winds around shimmering lagoons. The greens are flanked by at least two bunkers on every other whole, with water hazards placed throughout the immaculate fairways. At the present moment the course is being redesigned by the well known Jack Nicklaus Design firm; the whole 2008 the Mayan Vallarta golf be operating only with 9 holes. The new impressive Nicklaus Design course will be completed by the 2nd half of 2009.
